Effective date: September 1, 2026 | Last updated: June 2026
ParadicShift ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the ParadicShift platform and related services (collectively, the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have.
By accessing or using the Service you agree to the collection and use of information described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Service.
1. Who We Are
The Service is operated by ParadicShift. Our primary contact for data-protection matters is [email protected].
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide

- Profile data — additional information you choose to add to your profile.
- Workspace content — data, records, documents, configurations, and files you upload, create, or process within the platform (work orders, BOMs, inventory lots, etc.).
- Communications — messages you send to us via support, email, or chat channels.
- Payment information — billing name, address, and card details, which are processed by a PCI-DSS-compliant third-party payment processor. We do not store full card numbers.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Usage data — pages visited, features used, timestamps, session duration, and errors encountered.
- Device & technical data — IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device identifiers, and time zone.
- Log data — server logs, including request paths, response codes, and referring URLs.
- Cookies & similar technologies — see our Cookie Policy for details.
2.3 Information from Third Parties
We may receive information about you from partners, resellers, or identity providers (e.g., SSO providers) when you connect those services to your account.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provision, maintain, and improve the Service.
- Authenticate users and enforce security.
- Process transactions and send related notices.
- Provide customer support and respond to inquiries.
- Send transactional emails (enrollment confirmations, password resets, system alerts).
- Send optional product updates and newsletters — you can unsubscribe at any time.
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
- Analyze aggregated, anonymized usage trends to improve the platform.
4. Legal Bases for Processing (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the UK, our processing of your personal data is based on:
- Contract performance — processing necessary to deliver the Service under our Terms of Service.
- Legitimate interests — improving the platform, fraud prevention, and security.
- Legal obligation — complying with applicable laws.
- Consent — for optional marketing communications and non-essential cookies (withdrawable at any time).
5. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with:
- Service providers — cloud hosting (infrastructure), payment processors, email delivery, analytics, and security vendors acting as our data processors.
- Your organization — workspace administrators can view and manage data within their organization's workspace.
- Partners & resellers — only with your consent or as necessary to deliver services you have requested.
- Law enforcement — when required by applicable law or valid legal process, to protect rights, safety, or property.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of our assets. We will notify you before your data is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
6. International Data Transfers
Your data may be processed in countries outside your country of residence, including countries that may not provide the same level of data protection as your home country. Where required, we use Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission or other appropriate transfer mechanisms.
7. Data Retention
We retain personal data for as long as necessary to provide the Service and fulfill the purposes described in this policy. Workspace content is retained for the duration of your subscription plus a 90-day grace period following cancellation. Log data is retained for up to 12 months. You may request deletion at any time (see Section 9).
8. Security
We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your data — including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls, regular security reviews, and employee training. No system is completely secure; please notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect a breach.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification — request correction of inaccurate data.
- Erasure — request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
- Restriction — request that we limit how we process your data.
- Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.
- Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests.
- Withdraw consent — for any consent-based processing, at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EEA or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
10. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us immediately.
11. Third-Party Links
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to read their privacy policies.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new policy on this page and, where required by law, by email. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects when changes were made. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
